The BHS community is proud of our young people for their willingness to make a difference in the world.  Our students have found different venues to show connection to their community.

The BHS girls basketball team, families and boosters held a Breast Cancer Awareness night which raised over $1200 for The Ellie Fund Through raffles tickets and donations.

BHS Panther Pride Plungers, Kaitlin Kennedy, Jack Ploszay, Ian McCarron, Nate Hollesen, Jack Ewer, and the BHS Wrestling Team raised a record $1,860 and plunging through ice at Lynch Park for the annual Polar Plunge to raise money for the homeless in Beverly.

A large group of BHS students participated in the National Student Walkout on Thursday, March 15 to express their solidarity with students at Marjory Stoneham Douglas High School, to commemorate the victims, and to bring awareness to the issues of school safety.  This student led event came from reflective, civil discussions among students with a tone of respect for varied points of view.

Our students are also sharing their talents and skills with the greater community.

The following students received All Star Awards at the Massachusetts Educational Theater Guild's High School Drama Festival: Jacqui Carr for Performance, Andi Amidon and Kayli Kotchian for Hair & Make-up, Naomi Weiss, Amanda Desmond, Ella Colten, Abby Bettencourt, Emily Rosenberg, and Mandy Rosenberg for Costumes.
