AP Students

Attention AP Students: Your signed contracts are due to AP teachers by this Friday.  Please pass them in as soon as possible to receive your summer assignment.

 

Attendance Review

Attendance review board will meet Friday June 15th before school.  Anyone with attendance issues should sign up in 2nd floor office for an apt.

  

Art Department

The following students have received recognition for this art contest. They will be recognized at the CAC picnic on June 20,  and their work will be on display at the Mayor's Gallery June 21-July 19, with a reception on July 12.

Yearbooks

The yearbooks are in, and can be picked up after school in Room 351. There are also a limited supply of extra yearbooks available for purchase for $70. Please see Mr. Riordan in Room 351 if you have any questions or contact him via email at mriordan@beverlyschools.org

 

Summer Freshman Orientation

Freshmen, Sophomore, and Junior guides are needed for Freshmen Orientation 8/21, 8:15 - 11:30 AM. Sign up on BHS Online, under School Headlines or stop by room 407 Mrs. Bigus' room, before or after school.

 

June 4 – Through June 22

Fall Sports registration is now open.  Please register online at bhsonline.org.  Don’t forget to send in your athletic payment along with a copy of an updated physical.  Try outs for football will begin on Aug. 17 and all other sports will begin on Aug. 23rd..  For exact try out dates and times, please check online.

 

Class 2020

The Class of 2020 is promoting a “Message in a Bottle” fundraiser. Small bottles are available for purchase (1 for $3 and 2 for $5) for a small note to be put into them. Classmates, siblings, parents/guardians, teachers, and students are all encouraged to participate in this fundraiser. The bottles with messages will be sold until June 15th, and after they are collected will be kept until the Class of 2020’s senior week when they will be distributed. Parents/guardians looking to purchase a message in a bottle are welcome to drop off money as well as a printed message in an envelope marked Class of 2020 to the main office. The student's name must be on the note, on a stickie note, or written on the envelope. Cash or a check made out to the Beverly High School Class of 2020 should be included. The notes can be purchased only for students of the Class of 2020, but anyone is welcome to purchase a bottle and note to send to a member of the class.

 

Free Summer Music Program with Ms PK

Do you like to sing and dance? Are you looking for a way to improve and show off your talents? Ms. PK is running a free music program during the month of July. Students will work on their singing and dancing skills to put on a musical review that will be performed at the culmination of the program on July 27 at 7:00 PM in the BHS Auditorium. Opportunities for solo and ensemble performance work will be provided. If you are interested, email lpilanen@beverlyschools.org, or stop by and see Ms.PK in the band or chorus room for more details.
